Designed for use with the ATG, Solid G, ect. Makes for an easy and quick setup, allows access to hidden menus for extra fine tuning of your ATG, Solid G, Ect.
- To change the parameters you need the G-view.
- 1.) Plug in the G-view and turn on the radio.
- 2.) Hold down the "P" button for 6 seconds. This brings you into initial setup mode. You do not need to change this if you have already gone through the initial setup in the manual.
- 3.) Now hold down the "P" button again for 6 seconds. This brings you to the Model Type. Do not need to change this, although for the 600N make sure you are set on T-rex600. It will flash the model setting quickly when you enter this mode then switch to asking you if you want to switch it to a Vibe.
- 4.) Now push and hold "P" for 6 seconds to enter the Pirouette menu. Now you want to change the default settings in this menu as listed above. Scroll to each parameter by pushing the "P" button briefly and releasing. Then use the "L" and "H" buttons to decrease and increase the value. Once you are done making the changes to the Parameter menu push and hold "P" for 6 seconds to move to the next menu (Response menu)
- 5.) Make the needed changes in the Response menu (see list above) then push and hold "P" for 6 seconds to move on to Parameter menu.
- 6.) Make the one change in the Parameter menu as listed above. Then turn off the radio.
- 7.) The gyro is now ready to fly.
Solid G allows for the use of any tail servo currently available on the market, from the Futaba 9256 to the JR 8700g. All you have to do is pick which servo you will be using from the menu and plug it in. Also the unit allows you to select the type of helicopter you are flying. Vibe, Stratus, Trex 600 and Synergy all have preprogrammed "base maps" to make it that much easier to tune the unit to your machine. Check the Gallery for our Solid G Instructional Video.
Note!!!- The Solid G was designed to be used with the G-view. So everyone that gets a Solid G should also get a G-view (in our opinion). We do not pack them together as a set because once you purchase 1 G-View you do not need to buy any more. Even if you have 5 ATGs and 5 Solid Gs you only need 1 G-view. So we did not want to force people to pay $40.00 for the G-view everytime they purchase an ATG or Solid G. But we strongly recommend getting a G-view for programming the Solid G.
